How to Pay PAG-IBIG Contribution using a Credit Card

Government contributions are due once again and one resolution I had for the year is to be on top of all of these - if I can pay in full the entire year the better that way I do not forget. I also make a monthly recurring reminder to pay contributions like SSS, Philhealth, and Pag-Ibig.

In my last post, I provided a walkthrough on how to create your virtual account. The Pag-Ibig virtual account allows you to see your contributions, review your savings information and print out your member data sheet when needed. One thing I love about this system is you can see your contributions posted in real-time.

Let's get your Pag-Ibig contributions paid using the following steps:

1. Open the Pag-IBIG virtual page: https://www.pagibigfundservices.com/virtualpagibig/  and tick on the small box for Data Privacy and hit on Proceed.

2. Select Pay Online > Regular Savings. You can see on this menu that you are also able to pay for other contributions - loans and MP2 Savings.

3. Fill out the form. Membership Category > Local, Payment Method > Credit Card (GCash, Paymaya, and Debit also an option), and input your MID number (hit on validate/search) results will show your name, Savings amount currently I pay for Php200 per month and coverage period, you can opt for monthly or annual like what I did. Note: A Php3.50 fee per month is added as a convenience fee hence my total is Php2442.

4. Complete Billing Information next. Make sure to fill out all fields as they are all required.

5. Review all details.

6. Complete payment information, extra authentication might be asked (but not for all). If your credit card requires a one-time pin you need to complete additional steps.

7. Wait for payment to be completed.

8. Check your contributions online. Credit Card payments took about 4 days (including weekends).
