Planet Grapes Cebu - Wine Tasting Class

I have been to Planet Grapes twice now for the Hallowine event and of course the Media Launch.  Join the first wave of Planet Grapes’ Cebu wine revolution at a wine tasting class on November 19 at 4 p.m. The class is a brand new opportunity for earthlings in Cebu to enjoy learning about wine without the drama. This is a chance to learn the basics of wine tasting, expand your skill set and impress your friends with everything you’ll learn while drinking wine and eating great food with us.

The key to great food is a great wine, and even the best wines of the world need food to unlock their full potential. Planet Grapes Cebu’s first wine class will showcase just how unique and beautiful the dance between wine and food is, as you taste different wine and food combinations and discuss what happens to the flavors and why. Our WSET certified wine instructor will talk about each of the wines you’ll taste, winetasting basics, and more.

The no-frills food menu for the class will include both casual street foods, such as squid balls, and more traditional wine pairing options like crème brulee. Overall, the class will feature six wines and 13 food items, which means dozens of pairing options that you can try. You can even get ideas for hosting a tasting class for your friends, and share the wine knowledge you learn!

The wine tasting class fee is PHP1,200 and includes wine, food, wine education and fun. All participants will also receive a personalized certificate upon completing the class, so you have something to hang on your wall or frame in the kitchen.
