As you know by now, Café Namoo
has been around for a few months or so. Oddly, it took me rather a long while
to check them out. Korean owned coffee shops have sprouted all over the city
like mushrooms in the ground. Aiming to be unique with the option to be happily
trapped in a room filled with colorful balloons, have coffee with a giant stuffed
bear or passionately profess your unrequited love over the provided post its
with no shame. Doors open from 10AM to 1AM.
Fun Fact: Namoo is the Korean word for tree. Hence the logo. :)
The total area can accommodate up
to 50 guests at one time. They have decks, 50 in total and each deck has an
electrical outlet for your gadgets. A great place for a quite chat, chill and
maybe sleep if you like. Friendly and warm staff and the menu are quite
notable. Although, please note that since the place is open to everyone noise
can be an issue when the place is at 80% capacity. Nonetheless, I loved the
place. The place was rather close to where I reside and it was a very slow
night hence a good caffeine fix never hurts anyone.
Ain't it just the cutest? I love how the owners put effort in the minute of details.
I opted for the Vanilla Frap at Php170. Creamy vanilla icecream topped
with whipped crème and white chocolate chips. Smooth, simple and just like I
like it. This is best for your non-caffeine drinker friend.
The Java Chip Frap at the same
price is a concoction of blended chocolate chop with coffee bits for a bite of bitterness.
The Java Chip Frap has a good mix of sweet and coffee goodness. This is best recommended
for your coffee addict friend.
An instant favorite, their Honey Bread at Php150. four-inch square bread doused in butter, honey
and generously topped with almond slivers and peanuts. I failed to mention the
chocolate syrup. Too good to share or if you are feeling generous, it can be
devoured by 2-3 people.
