Who doesn't love garlic bread? It seems to go well with almost anything! We made Provencal de Tomate one time and added a garlic bread with it! Here is a simple no fuss baking recipe for you!
Ingredients:
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1/2 cup of butter or as desired
- 1 fresh baguette
- parsley (optional)
- freshly ground pepper
What you need to do:
- Soften butter by keeping it out from the fridge about 30 minutes.
- Using a garlic crusher, crush garlic.
- There would be garlic pieces that won't get crushed, take these out. Finely chop them and add to the butter.
- Add parsley to the mix.
- Slice baguette diagonally according to your preferred thickness.
- Spread butter-garlic mixture to one side of the baguette. Place on a baking sheet and bake at 180 degree preheated oven for 20 minutes.
- Aromatic, fresh baked garlic bread ready for serving.
