Mooshi Green Smoothie + Juice Bar
I am challenged lately to keep a fit and healthy body. Gone are the days when I used to head out to the gym for some cardio. Gone are the days when I would wait for food to be prepared for me, I now live independently. Keeping a fit body takes time and a conscious effort and a whole lot of patience. Eating a salad today will not reap a ripped abs tomorrow. It should be continuous and done right.
I wondered what Mooshi means. It is rather foreign to me and to you as well I reckon.
A Mooshi is a plant-based drink package with ORGANIC leafy green vegetables and FRESH fruits. The green color is from chlorophyll, a nutrient-rich pigment found in all leafy greens that cleans the body of harmful toxins, oxygenated the blood and helps boost energy levels. Mooshi is one of those local brand that started out fresh from BTC's Market Saturdays. They opened their healthy albeit exciting venture to the public. Their aim is to expose Cebu to a healthier, more satisfying way of getting the best from mother nature. Packed with multivitamins, nutrients and antioxidants their selection of smoothies, shakes and even a featured ice cream will certainly be a fruitful experience and hopefully a start of a new routine.
I visited their SM branch and this is located near the chess players and near the Famous Belgian Waffles.You can never miss their spot cause they are situated just next to the department store. The staff wore green and with the kindest smiles. They have jars full of chia seeds, flax seeds and even a counter full of fresh produce! What I noticed is that they use Vitamix, this is one of the top line blenders in the market and as you may guess, it is quiet expensive. A great investment for those who are truly serious in turning a new leaf.
I love ice cream and being the adventure junkie that I am, I decided to try out their Spinach Icecream. As expected, it's green and cold. The consistency is that of a froyo and the taste is out of this world. Yes, it gets a little getting used to but you can actually taste bananas on it. It tasted like avocado yet less sweet. It was worth a try and my friend couldn't finish hers I gladly ate it for her. :D

DeleteIt's not you on a diet, it's your wallet. Instead of losing the "bil-bil", it loses bills. Hehehe. Kidding aside, I don't think healthy eating is more expensive. It's all a matter of food choices. Cooking at home and packing meals to work can save you a lot - both on calories and money. ;)
