Fangirling: The Amazing Spiderman

After indulging in the total epic-ness of the movie, I am finally able to talk about it! This is one of the movies that I have on my list for this year. It was truly great in all proportions!

The actors were terrific! Dr. Connors played his role wonderfully. In case you didn't notice, he was Spike in Notting Hill. I have a photo to prove it.
Yes, ladies and gents meet Rhys Ifans! :P
Did you see him in Harry Potter as Xenophilius Lovegood, Luna's dad? Or maybe that's just me being a keen observant! In any case, the movie did a good job in creating a connection between Peter and the spiders. It was nice to see wonderful machines and even terminologies that the first movie did way back. In this movie, it showed us a good foundation of how Peter got this power and what there is a sense of mystery as where his father went and if he is alive. That's really nice to have, that sense of doubt at the end of the movie.
Going on to Andrew Garfield, he was utterly fit for the role. It didn't felt force. He wasn't a wuzz like how Tobi McGuire played him to be. I liked that he was a smart ass and he was an awkward teenager! It was utterly cute and it felt real. The chemistry is undeniable!
I have been a fan of Emma Stone when I first saw her in Superbad and I loved her to bits on Easy A! This was the first time I saw her with her natural blonde locks. It seemed like she was a whole different person! It was really refreshing. It somehow made me feel like she is Gwen Stacy. It was nice that she didn't take the role of a damsel in distress girlfriend that needed to be saved. I liked the fact that she was smart to burn the lizard with a freakin' Propane Burner! I mean, really?! How badass was that?! :D
And then together! I.JUST.CAN'T.EVEN.
I felt like I was a teenager all over again. ♥

I just think they are perfect for each other! I mean, come on!!
