How to WalterMart Delivery

The pandemic has changed everyone's lives - in one way or another, the pandemic changed our lives. We have somewhat reverted to becoming introverts, as for me that holds very true. I rarely leave the house and if I do want something like a craving or something - there's always delivery through Grab and FoodPanda. I always plan to head out, visit the grocery when they open not to go out during the weekends or after payday, always keep a list of things to buy, and in and out in less than 30 minutes.

When I got my bout of COVID this year, I was running low on a few pantry items and cleaning supplies. I then downloaded the WalterMart Delivery iOS and Android and should you not opt not to use apps they have one from their direct site.

Loaded up some essentials and even got some meat. You have the option to leave notes as possible in case you need anything replaced or special requirements. Completing the order online was pretty easy just like any delivery app. There is a Php99 flat rate delivery fee which was not too bad considering that I needed to isolate myself. 

There are several options to pay - online or thru cash on delivery. I opted of course for contactless payments just like all my deliveries. I never was a fan of cash on delivery because I get anxious having to fiddle around with cash and I never keep cash with me at home. Also, I booked the delivery on a Wednesday and the soonest delivery was on a Friday which wasn't that long of a wait.

Got one big box for the cleaning items since these were to be delivered at home, might as well get the big gallon bottles! And so I did, delivery came longer than what was estimated but it's not like I have anything left to do and not that I can go pick it up.

Here's what I ordered - the big box had all the cleaning items and the two smaller bags were for the meat and dry goods. I had some seafood from my go-to so I had enough protein to last the entire isolation and had a few canned goods to go through as well. I had some veggies from the landlady who offered to get some from their last market run. Will definitely use the same service again.
