Ramen Kuroda

There are so many things that I can go severe lengths over - travel and food. Well, maybe just 2 things for now. My friend Azzuly and I headed out to Ramen Kuroda to try the allegedly affordable ramen at Eton Centris Station. Yes, at Eton Centris! A mere 33 kilometer bus ride away. It was an opportune time to venture out to the great unknown that is QC. The last time I visited or was nearby was when I met up with a former workmate for some Yabu. 

I am starting to see a pattern here: QC = Japanoms. I did a bit of research and it has been said that they had good ramen for a fairly good amount. Let's be realistic - most good ramen bowls range between Php250-300 and that's just the average in the market. There would be exceptional bowls at a more higher price point but let's not get too carried away. Let's find out if the place can satiate my ramen craving for less than the usual price.

Shiro Ramen which is the basic ramen served with Tonkatsu and a side of egg. A bowl is sold at only Php180!

I on the other hand ordered the Aka Ramen which had a good amount of spice. The bowl costs the same as the Shiro at Php180.

Options to add toppings to your ramen is available - you can add Egg, Leeks and Karashi Takana at Php30, Extra Noodles at Php40 and Chashu (pork) at Php50. We opted to just enjoy what we were served with - it was satisfying and equally good.

We ordered some California Maki at Php260 at 6 a piece which was a bit expensive for it's price but here's to trying out things right? Might opt out of it should I visit the place again.

We had a very fulfilling meal for less than Php500 which is not that bad for a complete meal! Definitely a steal and worth visiting.
