How to Get VaxCertPH

The pandemic has overstayed her welcome - and to be honest, she was not even welcome to wreak havoc in our lives for what seemed like a never-ending vicious cycle of the worse TV series we have stopped following. Social distancing, vaccination cards, boosters, the trial and error of the infamous face shields have become our norm. 

As we are to expect more and more people to complete their vaccination boosters and travel restrictions can ease up a tad bit. I am an advocate of preparation - I hate having to travel and having to fumble around documents and keep them safeguarded so this digital certificate can help me save a tree from being cut and made into paper.

VaxCertPH is powered by the Department of Health which aims for fully inoculated Filipinos. One can get a digital vaccine certificate which can be used for any domestic and international travel alongside the guidelines of the World Health Organization(WHO) on documentation of Covid-19 certificates.

Getting one is truly easy and you can get your digital copy in less than 2 minutes. 

1. Head out to https://vaxcert.doh.gov.ph/

You can also do this from your mobile device and you can opt to save a screenshot for safekeeping.

2. Answer the prompts accurately.

3. Next step is to enter your personal details.

4. Next one is your vaccine details, make sure you fill it accurately.

5. Once done, review your details. After reviewing your details, you will be asked to input a captcha.

6. Then finally, once everything looks good you can then have your certificate generated.

7. And lastly, you will be routed to your downloads and opt to save the file, send a copy over to your email or even print it.

Personally, I kept a copy in my email, on my Books app, my iMessage, and on my FB messenger. Stay safe everyone and please get vaccinated!
