I am glad that I gave this quaint cafe a chance. I came by a few weeks ago and the wait to be attended was rather disappointing. I stood in front of the counter for what seemed like 5 minutes and noone came by to assist me. The attendant was at the back prepping for the dish needed to be served. I left when I felt I was waiting for no one.

I returned less than a week after the incident and I was not alone this time. If I was with someone, I tend to be more patient and forgiving. Haha! Or so I think. :)

They have a wide variety of sweet treats from their display counter. Let me give you a short rundown of what was available during my visit.

They also pride themselves of having the most number of tea varieties as well as coffee.

What we had: Rare Chocolate Cake. The slice as you notice is small yet it was just worth it for the price. I loved how the filling was so rich contrasting to the subtlety of the chocolate cake. It could seem boring to some but I like my cake to be either: subtle or rich. This hits both sweet spots. The serving size was enough for two. If you are trying out their cakes, might as well share it right? Always always get two. Always.

And Snow White Cake. The crumbs were from the white cake and there seemed to be a cheesecake layer to it. It was the complete opposite of the Rare Chocolate Cake. It was like eating clouds with pink unicorns prancing around. It was light, airy and had just the right sugar content. The little piece of gold garnish is sadly inedible. I thought it was chocolate until it looked like cardboard.

Both cakes cost Php135 and it is always a good thing to bring a friend with you during random visits to split the expenses. I know I should have chosen to get the Tiramisu but I failed to check Foursquare before I ordered. Next time, Tiramisu and the gigantic Choux Cream and maybe the Cheesecakes too. Shoot, I think I need more than 1 friend to tag along next time. Who's with me?
