Chatime

Purple and bright that was my first impression. The couches look posh and chic and always packed with people. Milk tea has finally captured the hearts of the Cebuano tummy. Amidst all other brands in IT Park, the place was deserted. Crowds of yuppies, IT Park employees and even leaning to the older age bracket just out to try the latest craze.

Chatime is founded in Taiwan in 2005, the business now has over 800 retail locations worldwide - including Taiwan, Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, India, Korea, UAE, UK, Canada, the USA and Australia. 

They have a wide variety of drinks, from milk tea, mousse and even their special mixes. They have almost one for everyone's unique taste. 

The place is huge! They have couches that can hold up to 8 guests and even have USB sockets for teens that need to charge their gadget. Wifi is free and the staff are just the friendliest. 

This is a first time I had seen this gadget. Gone are the days when they would call your name and your order. They now have these: Restaurant Pager. Once your order is ready, you will see that this piece of plastic will vibrate and light up. Just head out to the counter and hand over the device and you get your order.

I ordered the Chocolate Mousse while my friend decided for the Roasted Milk Tea. I love the bitterness of my drink, rich and creamy. The Roasted tea was of the milder side. It was a good drink still. Next time I visit, I'd try their special mixes. The food is also a must try, soon definitely soon.
