Manang Fe's BBQ Main Branch

Manang Fe's have two branches one in Basak which I blogged about and the main one in Gun-ob. It took awhile to visit the branch since it was always out of the way and when I do head out to Opon, we'd only go to shop for the baking business and go home.

The place was not too shabby, it had the same aura as what we had back home. One huge space and a grilling area at the side near the cashier.

The place smelled of smoke and carcinogen. A great combo! :P

The grilling/kitchen/cashier area.

If only my blog offers an olfactory function then this would have engulfed your face with carcinogenic aroma. :P

Chicken skin cooked over a hot bed of coal.

The final result of waiting and some old pinoy movie showed on the TV screen. The person who owns the establishment was also there. I was too shy to take her photo as she might ban me there. She was truly hands on, she helped in skewering the pork meat whilst talking to another lady who did the same thing. Her face is on the logo of the Basak branch.

The place is near Kumon on the road going to Opon. You can always tell the motor driver you'd stop over Manang Fe's and they know that instinctively.
