saturdays

Saturday has always been a favorite day of mine even way back rudimentary days. It was the only day of the week I was willing to wake up early for. Who doesn't love cartoons during weekends? I was out for some deliveries and thought it was rather a good day for walking and chatting with friends for hours on end. 

Before I moved to the island across the channel I used to have this daily serving of delicacy we locally call puto balanghoy I am too lazy to check google for the universal name. Nanay always had the best ones and we have this daily habit of seeing each other every 11am. 

I would spend almost Php30 from a wide array of delicacy or just the puto balanghoy. :P It's been a long time since the last time I met Manang. Our paths cross today. I was exuberant. I even took a snapshot of her. We chatted for awhile and then I left cause my customer was waiting. 

Nanay just made my Saturday morning extra special. It's a good day for skipping too.
